FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, we highly recommend that you make an appointment before coming to the salon. Making a prior appointment means that we will be able to prepare for your treatment and give you our best service. It will also save you time for you wouldn’t have to wait in the lobby for your turn. While we do accept walk-in customers, booking an appointment will make the whole procedure easy for you as well as us.

We specialize in nail design, offering both polish and gel. We also offer classic single color manicures with a curated offering of indie and elevated brands. We also offer extensions, but more as a correction method instead of really long nails.

Sometimes you may not be able to keep your appointment. In such cases, we request you to inform us at least 24 hours in advance about your inability to attend. This will help us to assign your time slot to another customer. You can call us or send an email to inform about your absence.

Please arrive on time or five minutes early to check out our nail design lookbook. Should you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we cannot guarantee your appointment.

We are cash free salons.  Please pay with debit cards, Visa or Mastercard.

You have 7 days guarantee on your gel polish treatments.

You can park on the street or in local parking garages in the neighbourhood.

Yes! It is possible to bring your own nail art look. Our incredibly talented manicurists have personally curated our menu of designs. Our artists will help navigate you through our lookbook to customize a design and pick colors that best suit your style.

Healthy nails are beautiful and maintaining healthy nails demands some attention from you. Depending on how fast your nails grow is good to determine how often you should get a manicure. It is good to get a pedicure once in three weeks. Dirt accumulates in your toes faster than you imagine. Bacteria and fungus grow easily bringing diseases. So have a pedicure at least once a month. It will benefit your feet greatly!

We have worked with a number of guests who bite their nails, and with a little bit of TLC, some determination and will power on your part, together we can make sure your nails look and feel amazing. Number one best thing to do however is to try and stop!

Out of courtesy for a busy lifestyle, all of our services are fast. We offer a 30-minute single color mani, 45-minute minimal design and a 40- minute personalized artwork mani. If you need to remove gel you have to count 15 minutes extra for the proper removal of gel polish.

Gel polish should not weaken your nails when applied and removed properly.  It provides extra strength and prevents your nails from ripping and breaking, allowing them to grow longer and stronger.  The key is proper removal by using a soak-off technique. Don’t chisel, chip, file or peel your polish off… doing this will absolutely damage your nails.

This is something we highly recommend you do NOT do.
We offer a soak off treatment for our gel clients which involve lightly buffing the gels to break the seal and then soaking your nails in acetone. Picking the gel off of your nails can result in white patches and textural irregularities throughout the nails.

There is no way to make your nails grow quickly. However, we notice tremendous results if you maintain a healthy diet and use cuticle oil. Using cuticle oil won’t make your nails grow faster, but it will make them stronger and more flexible. They will break less and therefore get longer.

For clients with existing gel manicures, please make sure to book your appointment with gel removal. Indicating removal at the time of booking ensures we have enough time to properly take off your gel so your nails stay healthy and strong.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to work with acrylic also no removal . We only work with Poly Gel which is a new system that is between acrylic and gel. We prefer Poly Gel because it gives great results without the nasty smell and easy is to apply.

We love our clients and their pups but unfortunately the health department limits us from accommodating them in our studio. We appreciate your understanding.
